Information
As a PhD student in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Koç University, Pouriya's research focuses on perovskite quantum dots (QDs) and their applications in solar cells and LEDs. He is particularly interested in optimizing the stability and efficiency of these nanomaterials for practical technological implementations. His work involves comprehensive materials and optical characterization to enhance the performance of QDs, with the goal of improving their overall efficiency for future high-end technologies. Through this research, he aims to contribute to the development of more sustainable and high-performance optoelectronic devices, ensuring their viability for widespread use. Previously, during his master’s studies, he worked on cholesteric liquid crystals for optoelectronic applications such as smart windows, as well as opal and inverse opal sensors for biomedical applications.
