Information
Riya Thomas received her Ph.D in Physics from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India. During her Ph.D, she investigated the relationship between the thermoelectric transport properties and used the methods of doping, composites, and nanostructuring to lower the correlative effect of these properties and to increase the efficiency of the thermoelectric materials. In 2024, she joined Koç University as a postdoctoral researcher. Her research focuses mainly on the development of highly efficient thermoelectric materials and prototype solar thermoelectric generators with boron-based materials.
