Tuğser Yılmaz earned his Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, where he was supervised by Prof. Dr. Kürşat Kazmanlı. He is currently doing a Master's degree in Material Science and Engineering at Koç University. His research is focused on synthesizing 2D transition metal borides (MBene) from ternary transition metal borides for use as electrocatalysts.
