Özden Güneş Yıldız obtained her Bachelor's degree from the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department at Istanbul Technical University. During her master's at ITU Materials Engineering department, she was working on developing a method for overcoming fracture and shedding of nickel nanowires fabricated by using AAO template to benefit in terms of high surface area stable nanowire networks in the field of energy applications. Currently, she is doing her Ph.D. at Koç University Material Science and Engineering Department and working on synthesizing 2D boron sheets for energy applications.
